It was a pleasure working with Donny at Maryland Carpet Installations. We were working on a home remodel across 4 different bedrooms and Donny answered every question during every step of the way. If anything, we were the complicated ones, and they catered to all of our needs and timeline which spanned 6 months. I even installed baseboard in one of the rooms a little higher than I would have liked, but they figured out how to make the carpet still look beautiful. Prices were very reasonable. 1 1/2 years in and the carpet is still treating us so well. If we ever upgrade in the future, I only want Maryland Carpet Installations during my carpet work.

Very efficient carpet installers everything went exactly as planned. The installation was professional. It was done in a timely manner and it’s still in great shape one year later. If you need flooring installed these are the guys you want.

I couldn't say enough good things about my experience. They left several boards with dozens of samples, so my wife could take her time choosing her favorite color. Having the sample boards also allowed us to compare the same carpets with other installers, giving us an apples to apples comparison when looking at quotes. The price was fair and the installation was scheduled approximately a week after we paid for the materials. On installation day, the installers worked quickly and professionally. The installers removed over 1000 square foot of carpet and replaced it in just under 8 hours. I would highly recommend due to salesmanship, fair price, quick and professional installation.

I hired Donny to install carpet in a small closet. He showed up on time and did a very nice job on a fairly difficult area, with tricky cuts and stretching. His minimum fee of $225 seemed reasonable since other companies wouldn’t even touch the project. I will definitely use his company again!

Maryland Carpet Installations was Absolutely EVERYTHING I was hoping for! I was seeking a Professional company to come install new carpet for my kids play room and they were above and beyond my expectations. I will admit I was being slightly Boujie and wanted the best of the best for this install and I got exactly what I was hoping for. They came in and gave me an estimate and options immediately after I contacted them and between purchase and install was less than a week. The carpet is a dream. It literally looks like velvet and it wasn't even the most expensive option. It vacuums like a dream and feels like a blanket. It's thick and gives those rich people carpet lines when you vacuum 😂 Anyway they came in and removed my old carpet and hauled it away and within a few hours my new carpet was perfectly installed (of which they kept me informed of all the steps in between the process) all in all I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend them to ANYONE looking to get carpet done. They were a dream team!

Overall great experience

They did a great job installing my carpets. They were professional, friendly, timely and were very good at keeping me updated on their timelines. The clean-up at the end of each day was better than any other installation I've had. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend their services.

Prices were good, removal of the carpet and faux tile and install of the wood only took two days (far under what is a typical remove/install). Clean-up at the end of each day was very good. The quarter round trim on the floor is flush, matches the existing trim and the floors look great. For anyone looking at this review this is coming from an individual who works in the residential construction indrustry so I know what the process is and what the end result is supposed to be. I could not be happier with the end result.

Easy to work with, quick, simple, and quality

We've had our current home for nearly 20 years. During that time, we've used most (if not all) of the "big name" carpet companies. We've never been completely happy with any of them. The last time we replaced carpet, we used another local Hagerstown company, who left us with a bad spot in the carpet they never fixed. When we decided to redo our basement, we weren't sure who would be go with for carpeting. My husband came across this company. The reviews were fantastic so we set up for a free estimate the following day. Donny showed up on time, was very professional and gave us an estimate that was nearly half of what we were expecting it to be - that even included a padding upgrade. Not even two weeks later, the carpet was installed. The install team was professional, thorough and did a fantastic job - especially considering the numerous poles, furnace and water heater they had to work around and the "not quite even" concrete basement floor. It far exceeded our expectations. After nearly two decades, we have FINALLY found the carpet company we will be using every time we need carpeting replaced. Professional all the way, great communication, outstanding pricing, speedy service. We couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend! 10/10! Edited to add: After they did such a fabulous job on the basement, we had them do our living room and hallway. We are beyond thrilled. It's plush and beautiful. And they said it was stain resistant which definitely showed when a small liquid accident laid on top of the carpet rather than soak in. We'll be back this summer for our bedrooms.

I hired Donny with Maryland Carpets to do the job at my new home. I had to have wall to wall carpet installation in my whole house and luxury vinyl planks in the dining room, kitchen and the pet area. I could not have been happier with the work that they did. In addition to the installation he also took a little leftover carpet that I requested to have made into carpet mats bounded around all sides. My cat accidentally got closed into a room all night and when I found her in the morning there was a pile of threads in front of the door. She had clawed about an inch and a half to 2 in of carpeting at the doorway and Maryland carpet installations fixed it completely looks good as new. It was a brand new carpet and they were able to stretch it to fix it and looks like it never happened. Looks better than it did before. They do great work did so very quickly for a very reasonable price!

I came back to Hagerstown and was looking for help to get my mom’s house ready to put on the market. My parents who ran a long time business in Hagerstown always tried to do business locally. I saw MC on line and called Donny and explained I was working on a very short deadline. We had multiple issues with her house that had carpet that was 40 years old, including a carpeted bathroom floor - who does that? Long story short, Donny came over, evaluated the issues and gave us a competitive quote for getting the work done in the 10 days I had. As we were getting close to my deadline he called in some of his installers and they worked until the job was done. This is our third experience hiring Maryland Carpet Installations and as expected they did an outstanding job. Our kitchen and adjoining pantry room floors needed a facelift (replacement) and they offered a good choice of durable interlocking vinyl floors made for kitchens. They came when promised. Their staff did a lot of work preparing the surface to be very level. Especially at the threshold to the dining room. The workmanship was great and they added my last minute request to install white baseboard. The final product was just what we had hoped for, and our new puppy is very happy with it. too!

We contacted MCI for installation of a carpet runner and they come over within an hour to give us a quote. We didn't have to worry about the status of our order because we were provided with updates without having to ask. The installation was fast and the runner looks great! Very professional, personable service. I will use them again.

They did an awesome job looks like it never happened. i got water in my basement and had to cut the carpet to replace the uderpad, causing loss of tension and had wrinkles around the whole basement. they came out same day. Great pricing. Highly recommend their services.
